Prior to his career in real estate, Kevin was President and CEO of Palomar Technologies, Inc., a leading manufacturer of semiconductor capital equipment in Carlsbad, CA. As CEO he was recognized by Fortune magazine as one of its “Heroes of Manufacturing” in 2002, an honor bestowed upon five individuals nationwide. Palomar Technologies was named by Electronic Business magazine as one of the “top 30” small electronics companies in the world in 2003.
Kevin previously held several senior executive positions within the semiconductor capital equipment industry in the Silicon Valley for eighteen years. He was Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Genus Inc., and Director of Marketing for Novellus Systems in Sunnyvale, CA. Kevin served for ten years at Applied Materials in Santa Clara, CA in product marketing and operations management positions. Prior to his career in high tech, he was an Army officer for five years.
Kevin was an active member of Vistage International, a peer-to-peer mentorship organization for CEO’s of small- to mid-size businesses, for ten years and has been a member of the San Diego Executive Group since 2013. He is the past chairman of the TechAmerica CEO Roundtable C for San Diego, a group of local chief executive officers, and served on the Engineering Advisory Board for the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering at the University of San Diego. He is currently on the board of the Exit Planning Institute of San Diego. He earned his B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and his M.B.A. degree from Santa Clara University in California.
